Sweet and Spicy Chicken


  • 1 pound chicken breasts (cut into small chunks)

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 3 tbs soy sauce

  • 3 assorted colored peppers

  • 2 zucchini

  • 2 carrots


  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 2 tbs dark soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 4 tablespoons raw organic honey

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 tbs chilli paste

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

  • 1 tablespoon corn starch mixed with 1/2 cup water


  • Cut the chicken into cubes and medicated with the soy sauce and garlic cloves.

  • In a pan over high heat, add vegetable oil.When the oil is hot add chicken.

  • Cook for 6-8 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Flip the chicken halfway through. Turn the heat off and set aside.

  • In a separate pan, add all the ingredients for the sauce except for the corn starch and water mixture. Let them cook well then when it boils add the cornstarch mixture.

  • Add the chicken to the sauce. Toss well until chicken pieces are evenly coated. Let simmer for 2 minutes then add the veggies for 1 minutes.

  • Transfer to a plate and top with scallions if desired. Serve immediately Enjoy !
